  • Do I start immediately after I sign up?
Absolutely! Once you've enrolled, your child can begin right away. If they're joining mid-semester, we offer a prep class tailored to their needs, ensuring a smooth transition into our program while assessing their skill level for the best learning experience.
  • How do I know if there aren't any spots on Tuesday or Thursday?
Rest assured, we'll keep you informed about availability and the enrollment process in detail. You'll receive a notification regarding the available spots and a comprehensive explanation during your enrollment or callback, ensuring you have all the information you need.
  • What if I want to switch days?
We understand that scheduling conflicts can arise. While we do our best to accommodate requests for day switches, we encourage maintaining the current schedule to foster band cohesion. However, if it's essential for your child's learning experience, we'll certainly consider a switch to ensure their optimal fit within the program.
  • Am I billed on the same day each month?
Certainly. Your billing will be streamlined for convenience. After setting up your credit card information in the parent portal, you'll receive a prorated invoice. Subsequently, recurring auto-drafts will take place on the last day of each month, providing a hassle-free payment process for you.
  • What times are band practices held?
Our band practices are scheduled at 4, 5, 6, and 7 pm, accommodating various schedules. Additionally, we offer earlier practice times specifically tailored for homeschoolers, ensuring flexibility to suit your child's learning needs.
  • Should I be in Robertson County?

  • Am I prorated if I start in middle of month?
Absolutely, we offer prorated fees if you begin our program in the middle of the month. You'll only be charged for the time you're enrolled, ensuring fair and flexible billing.
  • Does my child have to have an instrument to bring to practice or is it provided for them?
We've got you covered! We offer instruments for sale or convenient rent-to-own programs for guitars and bass. During practice sessions, we provide everything your child needs, with instruments set up and ready to go. While we offer practice instruments, it's advisable for the student to have their own at home for regular practice as they progress.
  • Does my child or child's band choose the song?
It's a collaborative effort! Your child and their band work closely with our instructors to select suitable songs that align with their skill level and musical goals. We ensure everyone's input is considered to create a rewarding musical experience.
  • Is it only rock songs that are played?
Absolutely not! We encourage musical diversity. While many bands choose rock, we have bands exploring various genres like jazz, country, and more. Our goal is to foster a well-rounded musical experience that suits your child's preferences and aspirations.
  • What if the band only has an opening for an instrument that my child doesn't want to play? Or does he learn them all?
Flexibility is key at Mr. Perry's! While we encourage students to explore multiple instruments, we also adapt to your child's preferences. We have a prep band for beginners, and we're open to forming new bands based on students' instrument choices. Bands can be as unique as the musicians themselves, so there's room for creativity and personalization.
  • Do parents stay on site during lessons?
Parents are welcome to stay on site during lessons, and we also offer monthly opportunities for parents to attend rehearsals and experience their child's musical journey firsthand.
  • How do I know if I'm available to take my child before I sign up if I don't know the days and times?
We understand the importance of scheduling, and that's why we offer a free trial session to eliminate any commitment at the beginning. During this trial, we'll assess your child's needs and discuss available class times to ensure it's a convenient fit for your schedule. Additionally, we're flexible and may open up more days and times to accommodate our students and their families. Your child's musical journey with us is designed to be as accommodating as possible.
  • Is the $25 a non-refundable deposit, or does it go toward my first month? If I can't make the class that I'm assigned to, do I get my money back?
We've eliminated the deposit requirement for our rock band and lessons. If, for any reason, you can't make the class that you're assigned to, there's no need to worry about losing any money. We aim to make the sign-up process as hassle-free as possible for our students and their families.
  • How much does it cost?
